We have recently acquired and renovated the former E & H Boatworks property on the Intracoastal Waterway in North Palm Beach, where we are operating a full-service boatyard with expert new construction, service, repair and renovation services.
Dusty and Michael Rybovich – Dusty has now joined his father and will be a major part of design and research moving the family business forward.

But gone is the resorcinol glue, the heavy oak sawn timber frames and longitudinal carvel style planking that were the structural elements of our earlier boats.
In 1960, the brothers experimented successfully with their first cold-molded sport fisherman, the 30' Frisky. They went back and forth between their original structural methods and this "new" cold-molded method, with the last plank-on-frame sport fisherman, Olé, built in 1967. Ironically she was the 67th boat in the Rybovich production line. All Rybovich boats built after Olé are cold-molded.
Importantly, it needs to be noted that in 1958 the resorcinol glue was replaced with catalyzed epoxy resin. It proved to be a superior replacement and we continue to use epoxy resin to this day.
One may ask "why switch horses in mid-stream?" You have this strong, well-built plank-on-frame sport fisherman, people waiting in line to buy one, and now you're going to make this major change and build with a completely different method, this "cold molded" system. What do you gain? The answer is simple. It's not what you gain, it's what you lose, the boat builders' nemesis, weight! Along with eliminating the frame weight, interior space is created, a valuable commodity in the design process.
